A hackathon for people who build rooms, not apps. Designers, architects, makers, engineers and developers take one brief, one weekend and one material — and leave with something that can actually be manufactured in Indonesia.
Each -thon runs the same five tracks. A team can enter through any one of them, and most leave having touched all five.
A single brief, written with a manufacturer who has agreed in advance to build the winner. Teams get the real constraints — panel sizes, tooling, budget, lead time — on day one, because a proposal that ignores them is a drawing, not a product.
Everything made during the sprint is shown at the end — built, not rendered. Buyers, hotel and villa developers, and the press are in the room. For most teams this is the first time their work is quoted by someone who wants to order it.
Teams are assembled across disciplines on purpose: an interior designer, someone who can detail a joint, and someone who knows what it costs. You may arrive with a team or arrive alone and be matched.
Two days of workshops running alongside the sprint — cross-laminated timber, modular construction, local species and drying, joinery, costing, and how to get a design through an Indonesian factory without it changing beyond recognition.
The pieces the room votes for open for funding on this site. Anyone can back one — a hundred people funding one prototype, or one developer funding a full run. Backers get the object, the drawings, or a share of the first production series.
Every edition takes its name from what it builds. The format does not change; the material and the brief do.
Furniture. Chairs, tables, storage and hotel-room fit-out in Indonesian hardwood and engineered panel — designed on Friday, prototyped by Sunday, quoted on the spot.
The module is fixed — the building is not. Forty-eight hours on a sauna, a spa, a gym, a gallery, a laboratory: whatever goes inside one cross-laminated module that survives the climate and ships flat.
Design and engineering, open brief. The edition for the ideas that do not fit a category yet — facades, joints, tooling, and the details nobody has bothered to solve locally.

INCLT works on cross-laminated timber construction in Indonesia — the material, the engineering and the buildings. Doing that at any scale needs more designers, more makers and more developers who understand the material than the country currently has in one room.
This platform is how they get into that room. Short sprints with a real brief, work that gets built rather than rendered, an audience that can order it, and a way for anyone to put money behind a piece they want to exist. Selected teams continue with us afterwards — on commissions, on production runs, and on projects that started here.
